Our castings and forgings are purchased from established foundries and forging shops with ISO 9001 quality systems. We maintain a team of inspectors, which reside at our major foundry partners, to monitor the daily production and quality. We put our castings and forgings through rigorous additional testing according to the Microfinish Quality Plan which includes:
100% X-Ray or Ultrasonic testing of the critical areas of 600# class and higher castings and forgings.
Routine random sampling X-Ray or Ultrasonic testing of the critical areas of 150# and 300# class castings and forgings.
Microfinish has qualified engineers to carry out and interpret non-destructive tests (NDT).
